Hi Firstly Excellent work on this web application, I was just wondering if there was any plans to limit user interaction via there logon details for example i have a great family but when it comes to IT knowledge they are lacking to say the least and i can see many of them clicking things to see what they do not realizing that it could do things such as shutdown someone Else’s PC, kill off a service all be it temporarily, or even worse shutdown the whole server now knocking off most of the media and computer devices on our network as a lot of them now route storage or services through the WHS machine. As i said in the opening a great app i will continue to use either way, the link may just remain a secrete amongst the members of my family haha. Keep up the great work.

A lot of others have requested this functionality as well. I agree it would be nice to limit the access based on a per user account basis.

I do plan on integrating this but its low on my list. As of know I am working on localization of French and Japanese, as well as integrating a new add-in called Cloudberry.

Thanks for your kind words and will keep trying to make this app better!

I agree with all of above except for snowdins’s use of the term “nice”. IMO “required” would be the proper choice of term. IMO, a selective deployment feature (ability to limit whch users can use P80) should be “top of the list” rather than “low on the list”.

Please don’t consider this criticism as anything but constructive. As mentioned in a post elsewhere, it’s a really great implementation but I can’t use it because my WHS is accessible from the internet (like most folks).

    Cheers,
    Rodger

Hi, it’s a very nice work!
I can’t power off my XP SP3 client (with Autoexit) because LemonLogin (www.keylemon.com) doesn’t like FORCE shutdown.
With “normal” remote shutdown, my XP client power off with no issue.
Could you add the “Force shutdown” option?

    Thanks
    Mcsty

I am a little confused. You say that it doesn’t like Forced shutdown but you want me to add it?

Looking at my code it does a Forced Shutdown. So I am adding a normal shutdown as well to cover both basis. Hopefully this works for you. A new version should be out in a couple weeks.

Is there any way to integrate temperature settings (i.e. Speedfan) into the P80 page?

    Thanks,
    Garth
